    Description

GOD BLESS YOU! Interesting ORIGINAL document here.  It is handwritten and signed by Moses Giddings of Bangor Maine. I will provide the biography paper on him as well. That you see here. He owned the ship the "Golden Rocket". With his partner in the 1850's! It was captured and burned by the Confederates. On their ship the "Sumter" this was the first capture from this vessel in recorded history! The letter he wrote here. Is to Shaw ans Sanders. Talking about a camping trip. On boats of all things here! Whom I have not researched? Of some sort in 1877. Lots of details to read on this page he wrote over 140 years ago!
    True survivor piece here!
