    Description

1926 St. Charles Hotel letter/brochure in color advertising Mardi Gras and historic New Orleans sites. This beautiful letter/brochure is one piece of paper that was originally folded in the middle to make four 8 1/2 " x 11" pages. The top page features the Mardi Gras parade in color and serves as a typed written correspondence from the St. Charles Hotel. The brochure opens to feature two colorful pages of attractions to see in New Orleans in 1926. Scenes include Jackson Square, Napoleon House, Cabildo Prison Yard, and the Old Absinthe House. The color and graphics are outstanding. The back page features a black and white advertisement for "Ole Mammy" Creole Pralines. The brochure has been folded and has "St. Charles / General" lightly marked in pencil on the first page. It has no tears nor stains. A nice addition to an early Mardi Gras collection or new Orleans in general. Please see photos and email with any questions. Also, please visit my other listings. Thanks for looking and good luck!
