Vintage fold-out 1936 Cities Service road map of Ohio, printed more than 83 years ago.
This map opens to 27½" x 27" and has great detail on old highway alignments, including U.S. Routes 20, 30, 40, and 50, with cartography by Rand McNally.
On the reverse side there are inset plans of Cincinnati and Cleveland, along with a highway map of the transcontinental United States.
The Cleveland inset locates the site of the Great Lakes Exposition, held June 27 to October 4, 1936.
This map was published by the Cities Service Oil Company in 1936 and is dated on the cover and in the legend. The code in the lower margin is J-4.
Condition:
This map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with tiny breaks just starting on a couple of the fold corners and
no
