Handsome 1958 Cities Service fold-out road map of New York, printed more than 60 years ago.
This map opens to 18" x 30½" and has great detail on old highway alignments in the Empire State, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
There are inset plans of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany.
A large inset map of Long Island shows ferries to Fire Island and across Long Island Sound to Bridgeport and New London, Connecticut.
The map was distributed by Cities Service in 1958 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 9-FFR. Population data is from the 1950 census.
Hundreds of little trefoil symbols locate Cities Service gas stations throughout the state.

This map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with
