Description

Fold-out 1960 Cities Service road map of Pennsylvania, printed more than 60 years ago.
The map opens to 18" x 34" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
On the reverse side there are inset plans of Allentown, Bethlehem, Scranton, Reading, Erie, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.
The map was published in 1960 and is dated in the legend. The code in the lower margin is 9-HH.
Little trefoil symbols on the state map locate Cities Service gas stations.
Artwork on the front cover celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Cities Service Company.
Condition:
The map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with some minor wrinkling, tiny breaks on a couple of the folds, and
no
