Handsome fold-out 1964 Cities Service road map of Miami and vicinity, printed more than 54 years ago.
The map opens to 18" x 34½" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
The coverage area includes Hialeah, Opa-Locka, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, and Miami Beach.
There's an inset plan of Florida's east coast, from North Miami Beach to Palm Beach.
The coverage area continues west to Palmetto Road on the reverse side.
An inset shows the Miami-to-Homestead area.
The map also shows railroads and locates the Miami Prison Stockade.
It was distributed by Cities Service in 1964 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 4-LL.
Condition:
This map is in very good, lightly used condition. There are a few scattered stains on the cover; the map itself is bright and clean, with
no
