Handsome large-format fold-out 1969 CITGO road map of New York, printed more than 47 years ago.
This map opens to 25" x 32" and has great detail on old highway alignments in the Empire State, with cartography by the Diversified Map Corporation of St. Louis.
A large inset map of Long Island shows ferries to Fire Island and construction in progress on the eastern section of the Sunrise Expressway.
On the reverse side there are inset plans of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, Binghamton, Albany, Shenectady, Troy, and the New York metropolitan area.
This map was published in 1969 by the Cities Service Oil Company to promote its CITGO brand, and it is dated in the legend.
