    Description

    Handsome large-format fold-out 1969 CITGO road map of Ohio, printed more than 47 years ago.
    This map opens to 32" x 25½" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by the Diversified Map Corporation of St. Louis.
    On the reverse side there are inset plans of Akron, Dayton, Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, Youngstown, and Cincinnati, with a circle locating the site of the "proposed" River Front Stadium.
    This map was published in 1969 by the Cities Service Oil Company to promote its CITGO brand, and it is dated in the legend.
