Handsome fold-out 1965 Citgo road map of the central and western United States, printed more than 55 years ago.
The map opens to 29" x 18" and has great detail on old highway alignments, including U.S. Route 66, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
The coverage area includes Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
The western states are on one side; the central states are on the other.
This map was published by the Cities Service Oil Company in 1972, to promote its Citgo brand. It is dated in the legend.
