    Description

    4th U.S. Light Artillery Veteran's I'd Corps Badge. White metal badge for "Co."C" 4 US Art./ J. Shakey."  There is no J. Shakey, but I believe this is a mistake on the part of the maker.  There is a John Sharkey in Battery "F." I am assuming his enlistment was into "F" battery, and later transferred to F, a common occurrence.
    1 3/4 inches high, Pin back.
    Very good condition, the pin broken.
