Antique 3” Pitcher * Owned By CIVIL WAR MAJ GEN G K WARREN Gettysburg LITTLE ROUND TOP
This auction is for an antique miniature porcelain cream pitcher that was owned by Major General G. K. Warren, the Hero of Little Round Top at Gettysburg.  The pitcher was part of a lot at Jeffrey Evans Auction several months ago and includes an old provenance paper that was rolled up inside the pitcher.  The pitcher has maximum dimensions approximately 2 ¼” wide x 3” high and features an eagle & flag motif below a wreath.  The condition is only Good to VG due to the eagle on the handle being restored long ago, a flake on the spout, and a shrinkage crack between the 2 ends of the handle caused before the pitcher was fired in the kiln (as made), and another small shrinkage line on one of the wreaths.  Please look at the photos and ask any questions.  See my other auctions - I will combine multiple purchases to save you postage.
