    Beautiful antique landscape watercolor. I know that it is antique because the glass is hand blown. It has all the characteristics, bubbles, ripples, etc. A great estate sale find! I believe the frame is only a liner, with a bigger frame that went around it. Solid wood, nailed at the corners ,which should have been covered by an outer frame. The sides are not perfect and you can see drip marks on the back from the paint on the sides. This means that you can pick a new frame to go with your own decor and have it placed around this one. I cannot tell if the flowers on the frame are gold leafed or gold paint.The painter signed "HILL" was very skilled. This watercolor is so perfect it looks like a print. It reminds me of a greeting card. The colors are perfect. Size is: 16'' x 14'' outside of the frame. Image size is: 11 1/2'' x 9 3/4''. I will ship it so that it arrives undamaged.
