On the back the top brass border is hinged and folds down so you can remove or insert photo. The photo is pencil signed what looks like Amos. I do not know if that is the photographers name or the woman's name.

    Pre-owned.  From an estate.  Will hold a 4 1/4" x 6" photo. Has patent date of September 14, 1897.  Unknown Maker.  Frame measures 5 7/8" x 7 1/2". On the back the top brass border is hinged and folds down so you can remove or insert photo. The photo is pencil signed what looks like Amos.  I do not know if that is the photographers name or the woman's name.
