    Description

Presenting an unusual South East Asian spearhead. Excavated condition.Perhaps from the Kingdom of Siam, Burma, or Sri Lanka. A beautifully pierced steel blade with four sharp edges and four langets terminating from the chiseled collar.
Extremely pitted, yet a lance relic with an interesting history for sure.
I lean towards the weapon originating from Sri Lanka, because the langets are a European influence that melded with the Asian metalwork in the region, as can be seen in other lance examples.
A beautiful piece for a collector of arms and armor, showing a hybrid of South East Asian metalwork with European influence.
