For your consideration, a Bangkung type Sword. I don’t really know what to call this. The blade is shaped similar to a Bangkung, the brass ferrule is similar to what one would find on a Barung, the Carabao horn pommel could be interpreted as a Kakatua, then again it looks like a Northern Philippine pommel.
The blade originated from a rasp / file. There are brass initials “JR”inlaid into the blade. The blade hasn’t been cleaned, it’s dark brown in color.
Hilt and blade are tight together. There is no no scabbard.
