DESCRIPTION OF THIS BREYER HORSE:

The King of the Wind set also included Black Beauty, and Duchess (but I am only auctioning Black Stallion in this listing). Red bay, black points.
The Black Stallion mold was introduced in 1983 and is named for the equine star of Walter Farley's novel, The Black Stallion Returns. It has the round "Breyer Molding Co." mold stamp. It was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer mold #3030BS.

ABOUT THESE BREYER HORSES:
This is one of several Breyer Horses that I am
selling
. These vintage model horses all come from an original-owner collection. (The photograph at the right shows some, but not all, of the other Breyer horses that I am auctioning -- click the image for all my eBay listings.) The owner of these Breyer Horses took good care of them and only handled them minimally over the years. They were kept safely in a smoke-free, pet-free home environment.
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS BREYER HORSE SALE:
For each Breyer Horse,
I am only auctioning/selling the horse model. I do not have the original box, nor any of the original paperwork -- just the horse(s) you see in the photographs.
To determine the correct model number and name of the horse, I consulted the website called "Identify Your Breyer" (which is located at that name in one-word form, with a dot com at the end). If you would like to verify details about this Breyer horse model, or find out more information, I recommend you consult that website. Also, you are more than welcome to ask me questions. I tried to describe each Breyer horse accurately.
CONDITION OF THIS BREYER HORSE:
In my opinion all of the Breyer Horse models that I am selling are in nice condition. However, some do have tiny scuffs or wear, mostly very minimal. I have taken photos from multiple angles that should show everything a collector would want to know about the Breyer horse's condition. Each horse is fully intact (legs, tail, etc. all solid). I trust that you as a buyer will examine the pictures to make your own assessment prior to bidding, and if you need any more information, please do ask.
SHIPPING AND PACKAGING:
Each Breyer horse will be wrapped in bubble wrap/padding and other protective packaging (such as cardboard reinforcement) for a safe shipment. If you have any shipping preferences let me know; my goal is to package/ship safely. If you purchase multiple Breyer horses, I will gladly combine shipping into one package and only charge the buyer on the basis of actual shipping costs.
