    CITGO Cities Service Oil NOS Gray tinted Old Fashion Rocks Glasses Boxed circa 1967 Set of 8. Durable well made glasses.
    "Proof" Set of 8 Bar or Kitchen Glasses, heavily weighted base, with dimpled design and New for the time Cities Service Logo after switching brand logo to CITGO. Circa 1967. Single glass with fill up promotion type give away, but these were an advance case provided to a
    marketing
    executive for Cities Service CITGO Petroleum Corp. We mark these as new, or NOS which means New Old Stock because they were never used, simply inspected, and then the original box was resealed until we opened them for photographs. We have two sets still in their original boxes and packing. We have what might be called a Double Rocks or Double Old Fashioned glass. I'm not a drinker so I use this size glass for juices and
    cookies
    and milk, nice wide rim for dipping warm chocolot chip snacks :-)). The glasses were produced originally in two sizes. Whether both sizes ever made it to mass production is unknown. This set is the large format. Still a Shot Glass, but measuring 3 3/8" Tall and a 3" base. ( see our other listing for a set of 8 of a "single rocks old fashion, in a slightly smaller format) Each glass has an etched logo, with a dimpled heavy base. Very nicely made glasses for everyday use. Buy both sets and save on shipping, and have an instant bar service for 16. This listing is for the 8 larger set not both sets of cocktail glasses or every day use.
    Original Box and glasses weigh approximately 6 pounds. Shipping weight will be slightly higher.
    Mint Condition. Still in Original Box even so, they still have collected some dust and smudges from handling or storage. Otherwise Perfect after a soft wash, with no chips, no cracks, and no dishwasher fading. Some camera flash reflections are seen in photos and are not flaws in the glass.
