Civil War 1898 GAR 30th National Encampment St Paul Minnesota Medal.
It is made of solid brass, as far as I can tell. It's 2 1/2 inches tall, and 1 1/2 inches wide.
The clasp on the back is entirely missing.
The first couple of pictures most accurately represent the color. I took some extra pictures with a bright light in order to get the details to show up better and it reflected off the metal pretty brightly.
The front says "We drank from the same canteen" at the bottom.
On the back, the maker's mark is "Schwaab S & S Co. Milwaukee" and at the bottom it says "Pat Appl'd For."
