Civil War Vet’s G.A.R. - CALLING CARD

Description

We have a small number of these original calling cards, all in nice un-used condition and are offering them here priced individually for the collector who would like a nice original remnant of the Civil War veterans organization without spending a lot of money.  The card measures approximately 1 ¼ X 3 7/8 inches and is nicely printed with a three color illustration of the Grand Army of the Republic membership badge.  The card is otherwise blank, as was a popular custom of the period, so as to accommodate a personally penned signature and salutation from the bearer.  All in fine un-used condition but with a nice even patina as evidence of age and originality. A neat GAR collectable.
