    Description

    Lapel pin from the W.R.C. Woman's Relief Corps-founded in 1883 as auxiliary to the GAR.  Very fine workmanship.  Marked 14K on the back.  Dated 1883 (founding year).  Initials J.K.D stamped on reverse.  Measures about 3/4" square.  Nice enamel work.  By the way, the initials F.C.L. stand for Faith-Charity-Loyalty.
