ITEM DESCRIPTION
Item Description
Up for your consideration is a fine antique Burmese glove box, c. 1930s. It features a hand-painted top with a dragon, atop a black lacquered wood box.
The piece measures 14" tall,  4.5" wide, and 2.5" deep.
Overall, the piece is in excellent condition, with two areas/strips where someone put two piece of tape to seal the box closed. The gilt lifted in those areas (as shown).
The box is complete, and the hand-painted decoration and gilt remain intact. It opens and closes properly.
