Up for Grabs is this Antique Framed Litho and More. We bought out an estate and there were tons of family items, all with hand written notes on the back of who it belonged to and who gave it to them or where it was purchased. It’s been an experience going through it all. This has a number of family members written on the back wood with a date of 1888. the picture in it when we got it was just a ancient piece of Christmas wrapping to look at. It was pretty much destroyed. We decided to pop the back off and see if there was anything cool under it. There was! I’m pretty sure the Blue Jay Litho you see was the original picture. The litho is paper and shows its hundred and 40 years. It’s not without damage so really check out the photos. It’s dated 1880. There was something attached to the Blue Jay’s back. We carefully peeled it off and found the Ad with the boy and dog that you see in the photos. It’s also a fabrication. The picture is actually glued to the ad backing. We lifted a corner and clearly there is yet another picture with some text underneath! Pretty cool. The ad with the boy and dog is too small to fill out the frame. We placed it back behind the wood, just like we found it. You get all of what’s pictured. Just a side note, the frame is nailed together with square nails. Super old. Dimensions are seen in the photos. Be sure to check out our eBay store to see Hundreds of other interesting listings of antiques and collectibles.
