German Ladies Dirndl Trachten Dress Oktoberfest Size 8,12 (Euro 38,42)

Description

Another lovely dress from Hammerschmid, one of Bavaria's top makers. The pretty brocade bodice gives some glam factor to this cotton dress. Light blue ground with traditional tiny floral-motif patterned stripes in shades of medium-blue, spring green, cream, with some deep red accents. Buttons up the front are antique silver with engraved design with small centre rhinestone.
The skirt portion is spring green Turkish cotton, with scattered traditional tiny floral motif in white; banded in blue satin at the hem. The apron is a very pretty blue/green with allover microdots. The apron has elastic encased in the waistband, and an intricate metal clip that fastens at the front to hold it in place.
The skirt portion measures 70 cm or 27.5 inches from waist to hem, to fall below the knee on most women of average height.
