    Most coffees cherries produce two beans per cherry; they grow side by side, resulting in two beans with flat surfaces. Peaberry are individualist they grow one bean per cherry, many coffee connoisseurs have suggested they are infused with all the flavor intended for both beans.
    Cupping Notes:
    In the cup this is citrus fruits of Sweet pineapple and Mangos with highlights of raspberry and a honey-like body at roasted medium.
    The Karani mill is on the southern slopes of the ice-peaked Mount Kenya ( which peak at 5,199masl). The village sits at an altitude of between 1500 masl and 1750 masl. The Kabare co-operative (which owns the mill) has 6025 active and registered farmers who supply the mill with coffee cherries. They have approximately 422 hectares of land planted with coffee between them. Of those farmers, 1500 members supply this mill. There are 10 other mills in the Kabare society.
    This is a fully washed, submerged under water, and sun-dried coffee, using African bed drying tables instead of patios. In the cup this is citrus fruits of Sweet pineapple and Mangos with highlights of raspberry and a honey-like body at roasted medium
