ANTIQUE ORIGINAL 1860's 2ND PENNSYLVANIA HEAVY ARTILLERY BATTERY VETERANS ROSTER FROM CIVIL WAR LITHOGRAPH SARDONY MAJOR & KNAPP NY
This is an original lithograph from the 1860's that shows the company members of the 2nd Pennsylvania Heavy Artillery that fought in the American Civil War. Lithograph is a Soldier Memorial piece to show the names of the company and their fates in the War. Lithograph was made by the Sardony Major & Knapp Lithograph company from 449 Broadway in New York City. This regiment was "organized at Philadelphia, February 8, 1862 and mustered into the U.S. service for three years" as written at the bottom. Lithograph has graphics of flags, soldiers in the fight, eagles and more. Lithograph is in rough shape with some small pieces missing and has been taped to a piece of heavy cardboard. It would display nicely if you were to frame it though. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Litho measures 20" tall by 16" wide. Wonderful original lithograph celebrating the veterans of the 2nd PA Heavy Artillery company from the Civil War would be a nice find for display on your wall. Don't miss it.
