The Jack Frost product was manufactured by F. B. Chamberlain Company, founded
in 1855 by Frederick Bradley Chamberlain. Located at 118 Vine in St. Louis, the firm dealt in flour, butter, and cheese, and soon became known for the extent of its operations. The company ceased operations in the late 1930s.
The signs were salvaged from a downtown St. Louis Grocery Store many years ago by the owners son.
