    Description

    This is a vintage 1948 Hallmark datebook from Kaufman's Department Store in New Orleans that belonged to my Mother ( she passed away in 2012 ).
    I guess she kept it all these years because my bother was born in 1948.
    This Kaufman's Department store closed in 1961 after 84 years in business . The fact is that this book survived the Katrina Hurricane of 2005 and after losing almost everything she owned because of the storm little items like this that survived
    were important to her!
    The condition is not great, but it is interesting. It is now time for me to start downsizing some of my items and get ready for retirement. Please check the photos and contact me with any questions.
