Vntg UTA GERMANY DIRNDL DRESS APRON BLOUSE GIRLS 134/140 US Size 10 1980s Cotton

Description

My grandparents purchased this beautiful UTA dirndl set in Germany in the early 1980s for my sister. She wore it for a few years and loved it every time she wore it. The dirndl itself is red with a delicate white flower pattern throughout and has traditional rick rack detailing at the neckline. The navy apron has a dotted diamond pattern and attaches with a buttonhole to the dress at the front. The waist-length blouse has lace trim. The blouse is no longer bright white with age (we haven't tried to whiten it), and the elastic is stretched out. Also, there are a couple of fly speck sized spots on a sleeve, and most of the buttons have been replaced and are mismatched. The dress is in good condition, but there is a hole in the lower front of the bodice, just above the apron (see pictures.)
The blouse says 134 on the tag, and the dirndl says 140. These are approximately US size 10.
Approximate blouse measurements:
• 12-1/4" shoulder to shoulder
• 15-1/2" underarm seam to underarm seam
• 12" from center back neck edge (excluding lace trim) to center back bottom of blouse
Approximate dirndl measurements:
• 12-1/4" shoulder to shoulder
• 14" underarm seam to underarm seam
• 12-3/4" shoulder at neck edge to waist
• 32-1/2" shoulder at neck edge to bottom of dress
Approximate apron measurements:
• 19" top of apron to bottom of apron
