VTG UNIVERSITY of TEXAS LONGHORNS UT FOOTBALL McDONALDS PROMO GLASS AUSTIN TEXAS

This is a hard to find, vintage promotional or promo glass. One side pictures "Bevo" the University of Texas Longhorns mascot. He's carrying a football in one hand, and the other hand is flashing the "Hook 'Em Horns" sign. Bevo's cowboy hat is marked: "TEXAS" and this side of the glass reads: "HOOK 'EM HORNS." The other side of the glass is marked: "McDONALD'S...AUSTIN, TEXAS." The glass measures 5 & 1/4 inches tall, and is 2 & 3/4 inches wide, at the top. The condition is NEAR MINT. No chips or cracks in the glass. The colors are clean, bright & glossy. I can't say for certain, but I don't think this glass was ever used, or placed in a dishwasher. You'll be hard pressed to EVER find a nicer example. It seems to be a fairly rare tumbler, it was probably only given / sold in the Austin, TX. area.
