Metal swinging gate, Metal fasteners, screws and bolts. Adjustable brake with metal cams inside for easy-release tapes. Heavy anatomical handle made of ABS resin. Notice all the screws and bolts on this model, Everything is replaceable. Especially note the hardened steel serrated toothed blade,  This sucker is sharp & also replacable. This is a quality piece, Made in Italy, Do not confuse this with cheap Chinese knock-offs.

Specifications:

Engineered so the tape touches the locator plate by the business end of this gun

The supporting shafts are made of steel, and can be tightened down with ease.
Ergonomically shaped ABS handle is comfortable to hold and allows a strong, firm grip. ABS plastics do
not

Nylon pressure plate is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon, not a lower quality plastic. It bends during application and quickly returns to its original position (try that with a cheap Chinese gun).
The application roller is made from a high-quality rubber, not cheap plastic, allowing more strength and pressure while rolling over the carton.
